The full PC System requirements has been revealed from Infinity Ward before the Beta rollout.
Official Launch is still a month away on Oct 28th but franchise lovers specially on PC will get an early taste on Sept 22nd when the first Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Beta releases.
Infinity Ward has revealed the Official Minimum and Recommended Requirements before the first look of game’s multiplayer aspect in Call of Duty Next event.
And it is quite similar to Warzone and Vanguard.
Modern Warfare 2 Minimum PC requirements
- OS: Windows 10 – 64 Bit (latest update)
- CPU: Intel Core i5-3570 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
- Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon RX 470
- Video Memory: 3GB
- RAM: 16GB RAM
- Storage Space: 25GB
- Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
- Recommended Graphic Drivers: NVIDIA: 516.79 or AMD: 21.9.1
Modern Warfare 2 Recommended PC requirements
- OS: Windows 10 – 64 Bit (latest update)
- CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K or AMD Ryzen 7 1800X
- Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 580
- Video Memory: 3GB
- RAM: 16GB RAM
- Storage Space: 25GB
- Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
- Recommended Graphic Drivers: NVIDIA: 516.79 or AMD: 21.9.1
Vanguard was heavily panned for its dated graphics.
Surprisingly not a far cry from previous entries except more RAM requirement than Vanguard. Though the game does look quite graphics intensive similar in the lines of its 2019’s predecessor. Infinity Ward definitely doesn’t want its gigantic PC players base left out over demanding hardware. Also the official release requirements at the time of launch on October 28th would be a bit different than Open Beta.
Although to enjoy the game in its full glory of 4K/60Fps or 2K/120Fps, one would definitely need atleast an Nvidia RTX 3070/RTX 3080 or AMD 6900XT to begin with.
