Yup it’s that time of the year again !!

Dive in to Open Beta from September 16th for Playstation and September 22nd for Xbox/PC players.

Entering the last quarter of the year, there is always a certain kind of paranoia among the Gaming companies. Obvious reason being the plethora of gaming titles being released back to back from September until November. But in the horde of getting the attention of the player base across all genres there is one game series which holds its ground like no other. Pressurizing other launches to even change their release date sometimes. Activision knows how to play this game well.

Playstation players will enjoy the beta access period more as compared to Xbox/PC players.

Riding on the lacklustre response of last year’s Call of Duty Vanguard, Activision desperately needs a win with the upcoming Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (the spiritual sequel to the 2019 title). And looking at the general positive interest since the title reveal back in June, Activision keeps on proving why its here for the long haul even though we keep getting the cliched “This series doesn’t know where its headed.” Activision knows exactly whats its player base wants – High Octane, Hair raising, intelligent, action First Person Shooter which it never fails to deliver.

Well Almost.

2019 title was a breath of fresh air for the gamers being one of the most gorgeous looking FPS out there. So not capitilazing on a sequel would have been a naive move indeed.

With the title being heavily focused on fan favourite character Lieutenant Simon “Ghost” Riley as the rigorious marketing depicts and the first phase of Open Beta ready to roll on September 16th for everyone who pre-ordered the game for PS4 and PS5, Activision has everything locked and loaded. Luring players with incredible rewards from Day 1 such has gaining XP, unlocking blueprints and cosmetics for weapons and operators.
