miHoYo introduced the new fishing system, Lunar Realm as a part of the Genshin Impact version 2.1 update. It is a new event that involves fishing to earn lots of rewards such as Primogems, event-exclusive fishing rods, and many more.
A new Battle Pass challenge includes catching five special fish. You need to complete this to gain Battle Pass experience points. Follow through to know how to get five special fish.
How to Catch Five Special Fish in the Lunar Realm Event?
Catching five special fish has not been unlocked yet. It is yet to come in the event. Later in the event, when you interact with Kujirai Momiji, she’ll give you a new bait type called Glowgrass Bait which can be used for catching Lunar Leviathan, the “Mysterious Ornamental fish”. Lunar Leviathan is also the special fish that is referred to in the Battle Pass challenge.

Kujirai Momiji will also give you the location to catch the special fish along with the bait. This is where players will have to do their best in gaining Battle Pass experience by catching five Lunar Leviathan.
Lunar Realm Event and Rewards

- First Tier- 30,000 Mora, 60 Primogems and 3 Hero’s Wit
- Second Tier– 30,000 Mora, 4 Sanctifying Unction (grants 2,500 Artifact experience each)
- Third Tier- 6 Mystic Enhancement Ore
