Shrine of Storms: The Shrine of Storms has provides one of the best areas to farm for souls. The start of the level spawns a bunch of skeletons that can be easily defeated once you acquire the Crescent Falchion near the Black Skeleton. The relatively short run for the farm and the decent payout makes it one of the most efficient farming places in the game.
Fat Officials: These enemies spawn in a group of three at the beginning of the Smithing Grounds. They aren’t the easiest to cheese but can be defeated with some practice. These officials have a low chance of dropping a rare item called the Gold Coin, which can be employed in a glitch to boost player stats to any number of your liking. This does result in players breaking the game as they will be able to defeat any enemy in a single hit.
Red-Eye Knight: This daunting enemy can be found in the Gates of Boletaria and can be a nightmare for first-time players. However, should players start to move around and utilize their backstab move, he can be taken out pretty easily which gives a hefty payout of 2000 souls which is very valuable in the early game.
Archstone of The Chieftain: Enemies in the Valley of Defilement also provides a great way to farm for souls but comes at a cost of a little tedious journey.
Penetrator Archstone: Defeating the Penetrator boss will spawn three Red-eye Knights near the area. Use the aforementioned strategy for dealing with them and get a huge amount of souls every run.
