The catalyst for Dead Messenger is not yet available. But it will be available through the Vox Obscura mission. You have to go to the Throne World destination in the Director and launch the “Vox Obscura” Exotic quest on the Master level.
Once you are able to overcome this mission you are going to interact with the treasure chest in the end and it will give you the Dead Messenger Catalyst. But, you have complete some objectives to unlock it.
To unlock this ugrade, you have to defeat 200 combatants while using this weapon in Arc mode, Solar mode, and Void mode.
How to Use Dead Messenger Catalyst
Once you complete all three of these elemental objectives, your catalyst will finally be able to equip. So what does it do ? Well, it actualy gives the Dead Messenger the Turnabout perk that you can found on certain legendary wepons.
Equip the Catalyst to enhance the abilities of your Dead Messenger and turn it into a masterpiece. After that if you are using the Dead Messenger to break the shield of a combatant or a guardian using their super will you grant you an overshield too.
