As you start Fia’s questline, you will firstly get the option to talk with her, and during the ongoing event, you will have to let her hold you.

In order to move forward in the Questline, you need to have Great Runes.

In the next phase, you need to travel to the Altus plateau, and Elden Ring has provided various ways to travel there:

The Grand Lift of Dectus

The location of the Grand Lift is in the Lake of Liurnia region, and to use the lift, players need to offer some medallions to the statue. The Special Lift directly moves you to the Altus Plateau.

As you finish your short conversation with Fia, she will hand over a dagger and tell you to return it to its foremost owner, D, Hunter of the Dead.

After you reach the given location, you will find D’s dead body. Loot his dead body to obtain the Bell bearings that will help you purchase D’s incantations.
