Oregairu Season 3 is not one of the most awaited anime of this year, it’s the most waited anime. Fans were waiting for years for this anime to release. The cliffhanger that we get at end of Oregairu Season 2 was just too much to handle. We are men of culture we love to see which one of our Waifu ends up with the MC(in this case it’s Hachiman).
Oregairu Season 3 is focused on character development. Yukino decides to face her family, Komachi is more mature than she ever has been. Side characters like Kawasaki saki trying to make peace with her siblings. Meanwhile, paying more attention to her future and more. It is the season where we will get the climax of the anime.

Sword Art Online Alicization War of Underworld Part 2
Oh boy, So we all were waiting for New Sword Art Online doujinshi, Oh sorry wrong topic. I mean Sword Art Online is one of the catchiest romance anime I have ever seen. Our boy Kirito is finally going to wake up and show us his overpowered dual wielding skills. So, to let you all in the story. At the end of the SAO Alicization War of Underworld Part 1, Alice was taken by Vecta. As a result, Asuna and Team were in pursuit to save her.
As Asuna was cornered, Shinon makes an appearance(with a god profile) and so does Suguha but on a different battlefield [SAO Alicization War of Underworld Part 2 Episode 1]. The first episode was more focused on Kirito’s friends who came to his rescue. SAO is a good romance anime that you can watch right now.
Kanojo Okarishimasu (Rent A Girlfriend)
Kanojo Okarishimasi is a romance series that I got hooked into after reading the first manga chapter. The most amazing part is that I learned about this series while watching one of Paolo From Tokyo’s video on Life of a Mangaka. I read and read until there was nothing left. For me, Kanojo Okarishimasu is a roller coaster ride that everyone should try.
I won’t say it is the best romance anime/manga out there[personal opinion]. But, I will say that the series will get you hooked. I watched the first episode of the anime and I can say that TMS entertainment has done a great job. The best part about Kanojo Okarishimasu is its unique characters and of course the melancholy inside our male and female MC’s.
Kanojo Okarishimasu is a masterpiece with little flaws which is overshadowed by its range of unique cast, characters, and story.
Fruits Basket Season 2
In this entire list, the anime Fruits Basket is the only one that I have never watched. I have this on my watch list since my fellow otakus have suggested this classic remake to me a lot of times. So, I won’t throw some jibberish talks and say you should watch this anime. I am mentioning the story of Fruits Basket down below. Check it out and decide for yourself.
Story Summary (Source: MAL)
After the accident in which she lost her mother, 16-year-old Tooru moves in with her grandfather, but due to his home being renovated, is unable to continue living with him. Claiming she will find someone to stay with but also fearing the criticism of her family and not wanting to burden any of her friends, Tooru resorts to secretly living on her own in a tent in the woods.
One night on her way back from work, she finds her tent buried underneath a landslide. Yuki Souma, the “prince” of her school, and his cousin Shigure Souma, a famous author, stumble across Tooru’s situation and invite her to stay with them until her grandfather’s home renovations are complete.
Upon arriving at the Souma house, Tooru discovers their secret: if a Souma is hugged by someone of the opposite gender, they temporarily transform into one of the animals of the zodiac! However, this strange phenomenon is no laughing matter; rather, it is a terrible curse that holds a dark history. As she continues her journey, meeting more members of the zodiac family, will Tooru’s kindhearted yet resilient nature be enough to prepare her for what lies behind the Souma household’s doors?
Re Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu 2nd Season
Re Zero Season 2 is another anime for which anime fans were waiting for a long time. Many people are not even sure if this series can be considered under the romance genre. Why is that? because the romance genre is not mentioned in the anime’s genre list on MAL. Now, I don’t care if MAL puts a romance tag or not.
Without a doubt, Re Zero has a romantic angle to its story and characters(some). Their’s even a love triangle involved in the story. So, what do we need more? Nothing. Re Zero Season 2 kicks off right were season 1 ended with Subaru making peace with Emilia and finally confessing his feelings to her. The second season of the anime introduces us to some new characters who are very much important to the story. It is a must-watch series that you all should try this year.
