Genshin Impact players have been waiting for the new region Inazuma and some of the playable characters like Ayaka for a long time. On Friday, July 9, 2021, during the Genshin Impact Livestream Special Program, the developers’ showcased the upcoming massive update featuring Inazuma, new playable characters Ayaka, Yoimiya, and Sayu, five new craftable weapons, two new and three returning events, and much more.
In the midst of all the announcements, one thing players were eager to know about was the Genshin Impact 2.0 Release date.
Genshin Impact 2.0 official release date
Genshin Impact 2.0 update will release on July 21, 2021. Asia region players will get the update before other regions. So they can expect to get their hands on Genshin Impact 2.0 before any other region players.
The first banner is of Ayaka’s and it is called The Heron’s Court and it will be available post version 2.0 update.
The second character event wish banner is of Yoimiya, featuring Sayu as a featured four-star character. Yoimiya’s banner Tapestry of Golden Flames will release on August 10, 2021. Following the game’s previous banner availability pattern of 21 days.
