Genshin Impact 2.1 is filled with exciting things to look forward to. 2.1 Update is scheduled to release on September 1, 2021. For a better gaming experience, players can pre-install the preload version 2.1 files. Finally, miHoYo has released the complete Genshin Impact 2.1 patch notes listing all the upcoming content along with their details.

New Locations – Seirai Island and Watatsumi Island
2 Islands have been confirmed to be released in the 2.1 update.
Watatsumi Island
It is a pastel-colored island befitting of its ruler, Kokomi. This should be the next setting for the upcoming Archon Quest.
Seirai Island
Serirai Island is likely to be the main headquarters of the Shogunate.
Upcoming Events
“Hyakunin Ikki” Event: A team-switching combat challenge awaits. This upcoming event will have travelers fighting multiple opponents at once to clear it for rewards like event-exclusive name card style “Celebration: Ikki,” Primogems, and more.
Lunar Realm– This is a new event where players will have to catch fish to get a number of rewards. Learn more about this event in detail in our Fishing Guide.
“Passage of Clouds and Stars” New Log-In Event- Log in on seven days during the event to obtain rewards. All you need for this is to be Adventure Rank 5 or above and earn rewards which include Intertwined Fate ×1, Mora ×80,000, Intertwined Fate ×2, Mystic Enhancement Ore ×18, Intertwined Fate ×2, Hero’s Wit ×8, and Intertwined Fate ×5.
“Moonlight Merriment” Event: Take part and exchange for the event-exclusive claymore, Luxurious Sea-Lord. Set in Liyue, its story will be tied to Keqing and will include Treasure Hunting, Festival Oculus Collecting. Finish this event to obtain rewards such as the event-exclusive claymore, Luxurious Sea-Lord as well as its refinement materials, Crown of Insight, Primogems, recipes, and more.

La Signora (Weekly Boss)
La Signora, 8th of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers should be a powerful opponent and will likely have a form similar to that of Childe (Tartaglia).
Hydro Hypostasis (World Boss)
An elemental creature that protects itself with a cubical shell that is elementally inert. . It’s likely that it will drop materials needed by the newly added characters.
Thunder Manifestation
The Thunder Manifestation has a form similar to that of the Oceanid. High elemental concentrations have resulted in the creation of this floating creature.
