The new Sumeru Region is going to release in Genshin Impact during the 3.0 update. Players can now begin another adventurous journey in a new land with new challenges on the way.
The officials also announced the release of a new element and a plethora of upcoming playable characters in the game. We believe that many players are curious to know about the characters, including their rarity, weapon type and more.
In this article, we state a list of all confirmed Sumeru characters in Genshin Impact.
All Sumeru Characters Listed: Genshin Impact
Here’s a list of all upcoming playable characters in the Sumeru update. So, make sure to save your Primogems in order to purchase some of them:
Collei
- Rarity – 4-star
- Weapon Type – Bow
Upcoming character Collei has appeared in the Manga series with an important role in it. She is a trainee ranger who actively stays in the Avidiya forest and seeks to take revenge against the Barnabas.
Tighnari
- Rarity – 5-star
- Weapon Type – Bow
Tighnari is another character encountered in the Avidiya Forest. He trains people with Wilderness Surviving skills and is the teacher of Collei too.
Cyno
- Rarity – 4-star
- Weapon Type – Polearm
Cyno is a character in Genshin Impact who previously appeared in the 12th Chapter of Manga as an NPC. He is a calm person and a great scholar from the Sumeru Academy with a very high level of knowledge.
Dori
- Rarity – 4-star
- Weapon Type – Claymore
Dori is an upcoming character in Genshin Impact who seeks to procure anything through special powers. But she does all this in exchange for high remuneration.
Al Haitham
- Rarity – 5-star
- Weapon Type – Sword
Al Haitham is inspired by the great real-life Arab scientist Hasan Al-Haytham who was a master in Mathematics and Physics. His appearance shows him as a godly character and is more likely to be a 5-star character.
Nilou
- Rarity – N/A
- Weapon Type – N/A
Nilou is also an upcoming character in the Sumeru update, but not much information is shared about her. Her physical appearance is subject to change and has not been released yet.
Some of the leaks rumored her to be a Hydro user, and she might be a Healer.
Dehya
- Rarity – 4-star
- Weapon Type – Claymore
Dehya maybe is a 4-star character, but it has not been confirmed yet by the officials. Her physical appearance somewhere symbolizes the Pyro vision, and the leaks from data miners hinted that her Weapon type is Claymore.
Scaramouche
- Rarity – 5-star
- Weapon Type – Catalyst
Scaramouche, also known as Kunikuzushi, is an upcoming character in the Sumeru update. He first appeared in the Unreconciled Stars event quest, where he himself claimed to be a vagrant from Inazuma.
Baizhu
- Rarity – N/A
- Weapon Type – N/A
Baizhu was first introduced as an NPC in the “Guizhong” quest. He is the owner of the Bubu Pharmacy and has a talking pet, Chanseng, resting on his neck. More likely, he can work as a Healer character on the battlefield for his immense knowledge of herbs and medicines.
Lesser Lord Kusanali
- Rarity – N/A
- Weapon Type – N/A
Lesser Lord Kusanali is the Flower Archon and the youngest of the seven gods who preside over Sumeru. She was first seen as an NPC in Chapter 1 when Zongli mentioned her name.
Just like Baizu, she will also enter the game as a playable character of Genshin Impact in the future.
The official release of the 3.0 update is likely to take place in the second half of August. The physical appearances of the playable characters are subject to change and might look a bit different on the day of their official release.
