Hyakunin Ikki is a new event introduced in the 2.1 update. This is an interesting and entertaining battle event because it lets you play with 5-star characters such as Ganyu, Childe, and Xiao. This event lets to make 6 teams to battle, each formed by a different duo. You need to get at least 2000 points to get all the rewards. Players can use both their own characters as well as the trial characters. The trial characters include Xiao, Tartaglia (Childe), Ganyu, Yanfei, Ningguang, and Fischl.

It is to be noted that getting 2000 points or more would be easy only if you choose your team well. You’ll alternate among these teams in order as the battle progresses. Therefore it is necessary to choose your duos that synergize well with each other. To maximize your overall damage, make sure you pay attention to the elemental reactions such as melt, superconduct, and vapourize. Every duo can have up to two Garyuu Arts Skills. Garyuu Arts Skills
Rewards on obtaining 2000 points
These are the Garyuu Arts available at the event.
- Accidental Intent – +50% attack speed; resistance to interruption; heal 10% HP from normal attacks (can be triggered once every five seconds).
- Lightcleaver Blade – -50% stamina consumption when using charge attacks; +75% charge attack damage; resistance to interruption; +50% attack speed for those who are using claymores.
- Moonshadow Fall – Increased jumping ability and +100% plunging attack damage.
- Restitution – Particles generated by elemental skills restore 24 energy (can be triggered once every eight seconds).
- Celebrations Beyond Count – +150% elemental burst damage and -30% cooldown.
- Radical Dispersal – Characters protected by a shield unleash a shockwave (can occur once every two seconds).
- Pruning – Lightning strikes five random enemies when a character heals HP (can occur once every two seconds; active characters lose 1% HP per second.
- We’re on Fire – Greatly increases Fervor accumulation. Fervor is a mechanic that gradually increases as you defeat more enemies and swap between teams.
- Phantom Eye – +250 bonus elemental mastery.
- Fiery Banishment – +100% Pyro damage bonus.
- Frigid Regimen – +100% Cryo damage bonus.
- Light Across the Fields – +100% Electro damage bonus.
- Shrine of Stone – +100% Geo damage bonus.
- Cacophonic Showers – +100% Hydro damage bonus.
- Scything Winds – +100% Anemo damage bonus.
- Way of Tatara – +100% Physical damage bonus.
- Clean Cut, True Sight – +100% crit damage.
- Unique Life – +100% ATK.
You can choose one Garyuu Arts Skill for only one duo. The same skill cannot be used for a different duo. Therefore be mindful of which one goes to which duo. For example, Frigid Regimen, Lightcleaver Blade, or Clean Cut True Sight would go well with Ganyu. You can choose one of these for the duo which has Ganyu. Other Cryo characters like Kamisato Ayaka would also go with the Frigid Regimen. Prioritize these Garyuu Arts based on the team you choose. Another example would be Moonshadow Fall and/or Celebrations Beyond Count fo Xiao. As for healers such as Qiqi or Barbara, you can use Pruning Garyuu Art skill. If you have a physical damage character like Razor or Eula, Way of Tatara would be the best.
