As of September 10, the Lunar Realm event is available to all Genshin Impact players. This event will run for about 10 days which is till September 20. In order to unlock this event, players need to complete some requirements which also include a world quest.

How to Get Lunar Realm Event?
The requirements to get this event include:
- Reach Adventure Rank 30 or above
- Complete the Archon Quest “Ritou Escape Plan”
- Unlock the Serenitea Pot System
- Complete the “Exploding Population” Quest given by Nantuck
After meeting the above requirements, talk to Kujirai Momiji, the Inazuman fisherwoman. who sells The Catch weapon and its refinement materials. Next, talk to Jiawei, a Liyue fisherman from the Liyue Fishing Association. Interacting with him will start the fishing training. Fast travel to the marked location where you’ll have to complete a fishing challenge.
Event Description
The event has seven phases, gradually unlocking over the first 7 days. Players need to complete activities, including special fishing training. During the special fishing training, players need to achieve objectives within the allotted time. The better the performance, the greater the reward.
How to Complete Lunar Realm Event?
If you know how to fish then this challenge would be easy for you. If you don’t know how to fish then we’ve got it covered as well. Just read our How To Fish Guide. Players will have to fish like how they do normally. However, in this challenge, there is also a timer. Catch as much fish as you can within the time limit. Only 50 fish can be collected in the special fishing pool per day. Some examples include:
- Challenge #1: Master of the Bait-and-Fish – Catch 2/3/5 Sweetflower Medaka within 120 seconds.
- Challenge #2: Lean Mean Fishing Machine – Catch 2/4/6 fish of any kind within 180 seconds.
There should not be much trouble doing these challenges. The rewards would be based on the number of fish you catch. In order to catch as many fishes as you can within the time limit just make sure of the following things:
- Toss the bait correctly. Don’t toss the bait on top of the fish. It might scare them and they would go far away from the bait.
- Use correct bait for correct fishes. If you use a wrong bait, you’ll have to replace the bait taking more time. Therefore be aware of which bait goes for which fish before going for this challenge.
There’s pretty much nothing else to take note of since this is an easy challenge. Completing all the challenges will grant you the Moonstringer. The Moonstringer fishing pole shortens the time the fish attempts to struggle as long as you’re within the ideal tension zone.
