Genshin Impact 2.0 brought a world quest called Treatment on the Island Quest. This is definitely not a very long quest and pretty easy to do too. However, what is striking about this quest is the follow-up hidden quest after you finish the main quest.

It starts on Yashiori Island where you can witness the outbreak of the deadly malaise, Tatarigami, that causes everything from permanent thunderstorms to outright madness in people who are exposed to it for too long. Follow this guide to know more about this quest and how to complete it without any hassle.

Treatment on the Island Quest Guide

  • Interact with Yasumoto in Higi Village to unlock this quest. He is a pharmacist that is looking for a cure to Tatarigami.
  • Gather 12 Naku Weed to give it to Yasumoto. Refer to Naku Weed Guide to find them easily.
  • After giving him naku weed, wait until 18:00~21:00 the following day, then speak to Yasumoto again.
  • This time fight the enemies around Yasumoto. Talk to him after you’re done with the fight to end this quest.

You’ll get 250 Adventure EXP, 30,000 Mora, 30 Primogems, and 3x Hero’s Wit. This might seem like the end of this quest but there’s more hidden to it.

Follow-Up Hidden Quest

  • Go to Yasumoto’s house and place 12 Naku Weed yet again in the bamboo basket. This will lead you to get an exquisite chest in the next real world day.
  • Continue the above step 3 times and you’ll get the chest. However in the 3rd attempt there will be no chest and the naku weed that you placed will be there as it is.
  • This is the sign for you to look for Yasumoto.
  • Use Elemental Sight to track down some clues which are 3 pharmacist’s notes.
  • After finiding the 3 notes, head to the Teleport Waypoint south of Jakotsu Mine, which is the location cryptically referred to in the Pharmacist’s Notes.
  • You’ll get a luxurious chest when you reach the teleport with no sign of Yasumoto. You’ll also get an achievement called “A Doctor’s Odyssey”.
