How to Mine in Genshin Impact?
Ores can be mined by attacking it straightaway. Claymores are more reliable in mining than other weapons. Therefore if you’re on your way to mine then make sure you have a Claymore wielding character. Zhong Li and Razor’s skills are the best for mining. If you don’t have both characters then just a Claymore wielding character would work. Each ore can offer one to three chunks of usable material.
White Iron Chunks Locations
Here are the best locations to farm for white iron chunks.
Musk Reef
Right outside the spiral abyss, you can find many iron chunks scattered over the place.
Stormbearer’s Mountain
Teleport to the north of Starfell Lake’s Statue of the Seven and head East. You’ll find a rock formation with many iron chunks and white iron.
Wolvendum
Head towards the southeast after teleporting to Wolvendom. You’ll see a rock formation with many iron chunks and white iron chunks. You’ll get up to 18 White Iron Chunks.
Mt Aocang
Teleport to the northernmost waypoint and then head towards the mountain. Reach the highest point of Adeptus to get your hand on 8 White Iron Chunks.
You can also send your characters on expeditions to get iron chunks. The expedition will unlock if you reach adventure rank 14. Talk to Katheryn to send your characters on an expedition. The longer time you send them, the bigger would be your reward. You can also purchase iron chunks from Shitou in Liyue Harbour. You can purchase up to 10 White Iron Chunks at a time.
