Xingqiu is a 4-star hydro character in Genshin Impact. He is a top-tier support character that many players use on their team. Most players build him as a full support character while some of them use him as a sub DPS. Xingqiu’s Elemental Skill and Burst provide powerful defensive and offensive support. Xingqiu’s Elemental Burst stays when the player swaps to another party member. Hence, some builds tend to increase his Elemental Burst DMG.
Xingqiu Best Build
The best Xingqiu Support build is:
- Sword: Sacrificial Sword
- Artfact set: 4 set Nobelesse Oblige or 2 set Nobelesse Oblige and 2 set Heart of Depth
Weapon
The sacrificial sword is an ideal choice for Xinqiu users using him as a supporting character. It bolsters Elemental Recharge (a stat that’s highly useful for Xingqiu support), but it also has a good chance to reset the cooldown of his Elemental Skill. After damaging an opponent with an Elemental Skill, the skill has a 40% chance to end its own Cooldown. Sacrificial Sword can only be gained via the gacha wish system, so you’ll have to trust that luck is on your side in obtaining the weapon.
Favonius Sword is another good option to consider. Every time Xingqiu would crit with this sword, he would recharge a small amount of energy.
Artifacts
There are 2 artifact sets that are suitable for Xingqiu as support.
The first set is the 4 set Noblesse Oblige. The 2-set bonus for Noblesse Oblige is “Elemental Burst DMG +20%.” The 4-set bonus allows players to increase all party members’ ATK by 20% for 12s while using an Elemental Burst.
The second artifact that set players could consider is a 2-set Noblesse Oblige and a 2-set Heart of Depth. The 2-set Heart of Depth does “Hydro DMG Bonus +15%.”
Pairing Xingqiu’s Elemental Burst with a Pyro character like Klee or Hu Tao can set up rapid Vaporize reactions. Likewise, pairing Xingqiu with a Cryo character like Chongyun or Kamisato Ayaka can set up a Freeze party composition to lock down the battlefield.
