Apex Legends is a free-to-play battle royale, hero first-person shooter game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. It was released on the 4th of February 2019 and it has taken the battle royal realm by storm.

The Apex Legends player count has grown exponentially higher over the past seasons. It would have been entirely predictable if Apex Legends was buried under the shadow of the battle royale giants such as Fortnite, Warzone or PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), but it has managed to stay and hold its own ground and become a unique voice that has proven itself as one of the best battle royale games present to this day.

A lot of people are wondering exactly what the Apex Legends player count is across all platforms though.

It was announced on April 2021, in a video shared by the Apex legends Official Twitter account @playapex that the game has reached and surpassed 100 million total players.

There’s no doubt that the game’s availability on so many platforms such as PC, Consoles such as PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo and it is even available on mobile phones on both Android and IOS. This has a hand in this incredible milestone, and the game’s constant updates help to keep players invested too.

According to TwitchTracker, on August 3, the game saw 413,701 total viewers with 12,830 channels streaming the game. It also has 128,000 concurrent viewers at the time of writing, making it one of the most popular battle royale titles on the site, ranked in position 4 for the whole site.
