A Step-By-Step Guide On How To Make Potion Of Swiftness In Minecraft (With Pictures)

Step 1:- Craft Some Sugar From Sugarcane

First and foremost you’ll need to harvest some Sugarcane. To do so you must first collect some Sugarcane from any Biome like Jungle Biome or the riversides! Remember Sugarcane can only be harvested if sown in a Sand block with a Water source nearby! After doing so simply convert this Sugarcane into Sugar with the use of a Crafting Table as shown in the picture above.

Step 2:- Open Your Brewing Stand Menu And Place Blaze Powder As Shown In The Picture Below

You can collect Blaze Rods in the nether by killing Blazes that can be found in a Fortress! After that, you can make some Blaze Powder with the help of a Crafting Table! They act as fuel in the making of a potion. You’ll also need Blaze Rods for crafting the Brewing Stand.

Here’s an extra tip, once you’re at it then collect more Blaze Rods as you would need them to brew potions!

Step 3:- Add Items In Their Respective Slots As Shown In The Picture Below

First, add Nether Wart as shown on the left side of the picture to make an Awkward potion. After completing that add the Sugar that you’ve crafted in step 1! Doing so will result in you receiving a potion of Swiftness!

Step 4:- How To Make A Potion Of Swiftness (8:00)

To increase the time of effect you’ll simply need to add Redstone Dust in its respective slot as shown in the picture above. After doing that wait for some minutes. After the brewing is done you’ll be having a potion of Swiftness for a total duration of 8 minutes in your Inventory.
