V Rising is a Vampire Survival MMO experience where players can build their own Castle, Hunt for blood, and Rise in power to conquer the world of living filled with friends and foes and some things that are better left unexplored. 

In V Rising, you can make your own vampire and tailor it to fit your play style by using a myriad of weapons and spells. You can even Raid other players or become neutral and use Politics and Power to rule your surroundings.

Ever since V Rising has made its official Early Access launch on the PC platform via Steam. Many players are trying to run the game on Steam’s Steam Deck handheld console. However, they fail to do so.

How to Play V Rising on Steam Deck

To play V Rising on Steam Deck, you have to force proton 7.0. Once that is done, in Launch Options, input PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%. Doing this will force run V Rising on Steam Deck. However, keep in mind, that even after following the above steps, the game might crash quite often. 

Stunlock Studios, the developers of V Rising, has mentioned in an FAQ that the game is not ready to run on the Steam Deck. Well, what we can say, V Rising is still in Early Access. It is not even fully ready on the PC platform—talking about Steam Deck support can be a little too much.
