A Twitter user asked Tim Sweeney whether Fortnite and Easy Anti-Cheat would be compatible with Steam Deck or not, Sweeney replied: “Fortnite no, but there’s a big effort underway to maximize Easy Anti Cheat compatibility with Steam Deck,”
Again someone asked why Fortnite isn’t making it to the Steam deck, Sweeney replied: “We don’t have confidence that we’d be able to combat cheating at scale under a wide array of kernel configurations including custom ones.”
From all these tweets, we should understand that it is impossible for Fortnite to come on Steam Desk at the moment. But never give up hope, maybe in the future, we will get to see Fornite on Steam Deck.
