It is almost here folks. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Campaign releases a week early on October 20 for all the digital pre-orders.

Activision has released official information about the Modern Warfare 2 campaign early access.
Modern Warfare II Campaign Early Access: October 20 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST,
Full game pre-load will be available:
Xbox – October 19 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST.
Playstation – October 20 at 4 am PT, regional rollout.
PC (Steam and Battle.net) – October 26 at 10 am PT.
Activision has also revealed a map showing the game unlock times for PC players around the globe.
Campaign brings back fan-favorite characters
The campaign will follow up after the events of the 2019 reboot. It stars Captain John Price, Simon “Ghost” Riley, Kyle “Gaz” Garrick, Sergeant John “Soap” MacTavish, and a new character named Colonel Alejandro Vargas. The campaign will take place across continents like Europe, the US, and Asia.
All those who have pre-ordered the game digitally on Xbox and PlayStation digital stores, or on Battle.net or Steam on PC, will get the taste of the campaign a week early.
However, the players who have ordered the physical copy will be introduced to the full game when it releases on October 28.
Modern Warfare II multiplayer brings back the classic 6v6 modes like Team Deathmatch and Domination alongside Ground War matches. Other game modes include Third Person POV playlists which will be separate from First person modes.
New tactical movements include dipping underwater to hide from enemies and hanging from ledges.
Modern Warfare II at launch will feature: ten Assault Rifles, four Battle Rifles, seven Submachine Guns, six Light Machine Guns, four Shotguns, six Marksman Rifles, three Sniper Rifles, one Riot Shield, five Sidearms, four Launchers, and one Melee secondary weapon.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II launches on October 28 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
