The Rising of The Shield Hero is an action, dark fantasy, Isekai Japanese light novel series written by Aneko Yusagi. The series got an anime adaptation on January 9, 2019, from studio Kinema Citrus and Kadokawa productions. The series was a massive hit which earned Kadokawa a lot of profit resulting in The Rising of The Shield Hero Season Season 2.

The Rising of The Shield Hero Season 2 Story Details Revealed By New Director Masato Jinbo
We have some new details on The Rising of The Shield Hero season 2 plot, thanks to director Masato Jinbo. During the Crunchyroll Expo digital event, Masato Jinbo talked about the upcoming season and how he is going to handle a legacy created by director Takao Abo(directed season 1).

Jinbo shed some light on the plot and a few other topics, “A giant enemy called the Spirit Turtle? Being transported further into another world? Naomi and his friends will have to face various new challenges. How will Naofumi, Raphtalia, and Filo will take them on, now that they’ve matured? I also hope everyone looks forward to seeing the new characters that join Naofumi’s party, Rishia and Kizuna.”
He talked about how he’s going to handle season 2, “We’ll follow in season one’s footsteps and wok on making everything its best. The rest of the staff and I are giving our all for these characters so please look forward to watching it.”
The Rising of The Shield Hero Season 2 Release Date
The season 2 of Tate no Yusha no Nariagari is set to release sometime in 2021. We don’t have an official release date for now and it is most probably due to the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic.
