Final Fantasy 16 was revealed at the PlayStation 5 showcase event that took place on September 16, 2020. FFXVI is a PlayStation 5 exclusive, also getting a PC release. During the PlayStation showcase event, we got the first look at the game showcasing the gameplay, characters, and much more. The game was running on a PC calibrated to match the PS5 hardware. Thanks to that we have come up with Final Fantasy 16 PC predicted system requirements.

Final Fantasy 16 PC predicted system requirements explanation
So, the gameplay of FFXVI revealed at the PlayStation Showcase event was from a PC with similar specification as the PS5. Now we all know that PS5 offers a GPU with 10.28 TFLOPs, 36 CUs at 2.23GHz (variable frequency) processing power. The graphics card available on PC which can match up to this level is the GTX 1080ti with 11.3 Tflops. Meanwhile, the GTX 1080 comes with 9 Tflops computer power.
If you are going to enable RTX then you have to switch to the newer cards with similar computing power. Now let’s talk about the processors, the PS5 offers an 8x Zen 2 Cores at 3.5GHz (variable frequency) which has a total of 8 cores. The Intel Core i7-9700TE Processor is a 9th generation processor from intel which offers 8 cores and more clock speed than the PS5 processor.
The PS5 offers a 16GB GDDR6/256-bit RAM so if you want to play Final Fantasy 16 on PC with 4k resolution at 60fps make sure you have a minimum of 12 to 16 GB of Ram.
Final Fantasy 16 PC/ PS5 Release Date
There is no official release date of FFXVI as of now. We will update the page if any new news arrives on that front.

[Update] Square Enix has retracted the PC release of Final Fantasy 16. They contacted IGN on the matter,
In the case of FF 16, Square Enix asked IGN to remove mention of PC from our initial FF 16 news story, and when asked for a statement a Square Enix spokesperson said, “We have no further information on if Final Fantasy XVI will be released on platforms other than the PS5.”
