What Does It All Mean?

The specifications of the game seem to be quite demanding, which is not a surprise considering the spectacular visuals of the game. The minimum requirements seem to be a tad bit higher than the base PS4. The game ran at 1080p on the PS4 with little to no performance issues. The game uses Decima Engine and the port is being handled by 505 Games, the same folks who handled the Death Stranding port. So far, everything looks to be good with this one.

I am expecting the minimum specifications to yield a performance of a near 60 fps on medium settings at 1080p resolution. The recommended specifications could be 1440p medium 60fps or a native 4K medium with a 30fps lock. So, rigs with specs lower than the minimum should have a fairly decent experience provided you keep your resolution and settings in check.

505 Games gave out a lot of options in the PC version of Death Stranding and we assume this would be the case here as well. High resolution, unlocked framerates, and unlocked FOV sliders have been confirmed to be a part of this port. Since the engine scales well across multiple cores, the experience on higher-end systems will surely be worth it.
