PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022: Dates, Prizepool, Where to Watch, and More
PMGC will be held in Indonesia in an offline format where the official gaming phone partner will be Sony’s Experia. The League stages will begin on 22nd November 2022, and the Grand Finals will take place in January 2023.
This time PMGC 2022 is divided into East and West region, where teams from different countries will battle to the top. The 24 teams from each region will qualify for the League Stages, which reveals that there will be a total of 48 slots in this following stage. Now, as we move on, only 13 teams will be able to make their way to the Grand Finals, and 3 other teams from certain regions will get a direct invite.
The event also offers a massive prize pool of 4 million USD which will be distributed accordingly among the teams in consideration of their position on the leaderboard at the end of the Grand Finals. However, the officials have not yet revealed any more details about the PMGC event, so we have to wait for the next update regarding this.
In the meantime, Tencent is hosting another event for 4 days called PUBG Mobile Regional Clash. The tournament will start on 22nd September and end on 25th September, where teams from PMPL, SEA, and PEL will be competing against each other to claim the #1 spot.
