Stardew Valley is one the best farming simulation game that has grown exponentially over the years in all the compatible platforms. The game allows the players to perform several activities, such as cooking, mining, foraging, fishing, farming, trading items, and socializing with the townspeople. 

Fishing is one of the most crucial aspects of any simulator game. And performing that is not an easy task. You can catch fish in the valley to earn in-game money. Some fishes spawn only in a specific season, location, and time and Crimsonfish is one of them. So, in this guide, we will share details on how to get Crimsonfish in Stardew Valley.

How to Get Crimsonfish in Stardew Valley

Crimsonfish is one of the five legendary fish in Stardew Valley. It is maroon in color with an orange tail and fins. It comes in a size range of 19-21 inches, and when consumed, you gain 38 energy and 17 health. You can catch the Crimsonfish only once per save or once per player in Multiplayer.

The Crimsonfish can be found only in the summer season in the ocean at the beach on the eastern pier. To reach this eastern pier, you must repair the small bridge, which requires three hundred wood. Repair the bridge with three hundred wood or buy the second community upgrade from the Carpenter’s Shop to reach the eastern pier.

In order to catch a Crimsonfish in Stardew Valley, you must reach Fishing level 5, either naturally or using any Fishing buffs. In addition, you must fish with the bobber at least four tiles away from land in every direction, including the pier, so that if the bobber lands in bubbles, it can be one tile closer to the ground.

Assuming you have met the requirements, now you can catch the Crimsonfish easily. The only problem is that this fish only be found in the summer season, in any weather. But you can capture the Crimsonfish using Magic Bait regardless of any season. 

The chances of catching Crimsonfish will be 18% for each cast. However, if you use a Curiosity Lure, it will increase to 25%.

You can use it for making recipes like Maki Rolls, Quality Fertilizer, and Sashimi. Or, you can sell them at a base price of 1500g, 1875g for silver quality, and 2250g for gold quality.
