The Seventh Samurai quest can be initiated only after the completion of the Tartara Tales quest.  After completing each quest in the Tatara Tales, players have to wait a full real-life day to proceed to the next quest. This quest is all about becoming part of a new film being shot by Xavier, an NPC from Fontaine.

Players might get familiarised with Xavier after doing the whole Tartara Tales quest in fixing the Mikage Furnance. Completing this quest will result in good rewards. Follow this guide to know more about the Seventh Samurai world quest.

How to Get the Seventh Samurai Quest

Head to the island situated on the right of Inazuma City and find Xavier conversing with a guard, after which the quest will begin.

How to Complete the Seventh Samurai Quest

Xavier will ask them for help with his vision for a spectacular film, and players will have the option to review the script, though not necessary. Then talk to Xavier again.

After talking to Xavier again, all one has to do is to help him produce a film in just easy steps.

  1. Stay in the center of the Kamera frame. If players stray from the square in the middle of the screen for too long, they may fail the quest. Excessive sprinting or being knocked back can cause player characters to slip outside this area and fail the filming attempt.
  2. Defeat 3 bandits. These are simple samurai enemies from Inazuma, so taking them down should be no problem.
  3. Change position three times. Players will need to head to three locations in the filming area, and just walking to them will complete this step.

That was all in this quest. Talk to Xavier again to end this quest and collect your reward. Upon completion, the players get  200 Adventure Rank EXP, 30 Primogems, and 20,000 Mora.
