In order to get the Blueprint of the Dawnthorn Armor, you need to defeat the ruthless Boss Octavian, the Militia Captain. Defeating this particular boss grants you rewards, including the Blueprint that gives access to craft the Dawnthorn Armor set.
The location of the Boss, Octavian, is in Bastion of Dunley discoverable on the Eastern side of the Dunley Farmlands. There you will find some regular enemies who will try ceasing your way to the Boss arena, so first, make sure to clear them, or else you will end up facing some additional enemies during your clash with the Mighty Boss.
Defeating Octavian, the Militia Captain is not as easy as you think. He has a massive health pool, and his attacks have the abilities to take you down in some seconds, although his attack pattern is easy to understand if you try to invest your mind. Most importantly, the projectile attacks are the deadliest as they will stun you for a short duration granting the Boss to inflict more damage on you, so try to stay away from them.
