Grand Theft Auto V is one of the most popular games right now. The latest entry in the long-running open-world series is still going strong even after 7 years since it’s release. It’s been ported to multiple platforms and has spawned a multitude of online expansions over the years.

The game went free-to-claim on the Epic Games Store last year which has invited many more players to its already bursting base. With the game’s ever-growing popularity, many people have asked about the voice actors for the 3 protagonists in the game. This article lists all of them.

Voice Actors In Grand Theft Auto V

  1. Ned Luke: Ned Luke is the voice behind Michael De Santa in Grand Theft Auto V. Michael abandoned his criminal life and sold out his fellows in favor of a high-society lifestyle in Los Santos. Things don’t turn out well for him and he has to return to his old ways to pay some huge debt to a gangster. His voice work was demanding and Ned has certainly delivered. One of our liked voice lines by Micheal is, “My life may be a world a pain, but from here on out it’s gonna be cool, comfortable and air-conditioned pain.”
  2. Steven Ogg: The voice behind Trevor Philips, Steven Ogg also owes Trevor his physical appearance. Trevor is portrayed as a psychopathic and comedic robber who moves to Los Santos after finding out about the existence of his old buddy, Michael. There is a distinct charm to Trevor’s personality, and most of it does come from his amazing and faithful voice work.
  3. Shawn Fonteno: Shawn Fonteno is the voice behind the third and final protagonist of the game, Franklin Clinton. Franklin is a street hustler trying to make a name for himself. He gets sucked into the heists and the whole story when he crosses paths with Michael at the beginning of the game. His voice work and accent gives a lot of depth and nuance to the character while being extremely recognizable.
  4. Jeffrey Crawford “Lazlow” Jones: This character can be seen appearing across many different GTA games as an anchor. The voice actor has the same name and is in charge of producing and writing these games in real life. He isn’t a playable character but appears in a pretty interesting set of missions so we mentioned him here.
