Ori And The Will of The Wisps
Ori and The Will of the Wisps is hands down one of our favorite games of 2020. A sequel to 2015’s Ori and the Blind Forest, this Metroidvania features a beautifully hand-drawn world with a beautiful flowing sense of momentum. The story is inspiring and touching on multiple levels, which is astonishing considering this is a fairy tale.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection
Halo is the definitive exclusive for the Xbox series of consoles. The master chief collection packs all Master Chief’s adventures in one package. It comes with excellent features such as alternate graphical styles and custom playlists in addition to many others. Since Halo Infinite will take some more time to be ready, this collection is sure to serve players well until then.

Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition
Devil May Cry 5 is the latest entry in the long-running Hack-n-Slash series. This game combines deep and expressive combat with beautiful visuals, which makes it arguably the best game in the series. The Special Edition takes this game and improves the visuals and resolution. On top of that, the Series X can run the game at up to 120 frames per second which is almost unheard of in the console space.
Red Dead Redemption 2
Red Dead Redemption 2 is the latest open-world from Rockstar and an extremely polished title. It features a richly realized rapidly changing America. You play as Arthur Morgan, who is a member of a gang of outlaws trying to find their place in these changing times. It has a lot of nuanced touches such as a deeply methodical approach to everything you do, such as brewing coffee and skinning animals. Xbox Series X drastically improves the load times, resolution, and visuals that something like the Xbox One.
Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077 is the latest game from the folks over at CD Projekt Red. Based on the Cyberpunk 2020 tabletop game, this game has been topping news headlines for its abysmal console performance. The PS4 and Xbox One versions suffer from many issues such as low resolution and sub-20 FPS. Top that off with a plethora of bugs and glitches at launch, Cyberpunk 2077 became almost impossible to play on these consoles for now.
However, the Xbox Series X provides the best console experience right now with a higher resolution and stable framerate. The richly realized Night City is gorgeous and exciting to explore, the characters diverse and memorable. The next-gen patch is due arrival, but it still is a pretty enjoyable experience at this point in time.
