Moon-Bathed Deep is a world quest in Genshin Impact with multiple questline. Players come across the Moon-Bathed Deep quest while exploring the newly introduced Watatsumi Island that was added to the game with Genshin Impact 2.1 update. This quest is similar to the Sakura Arbosim quest but less complicated.
This quest is filled with many interesting puzzles to solve. The quest giver here is Tsuyoko, the Shrine Maiden of the Sangonomiya Shrine. You can find her just west of the Statue of Seven in Watatsumi Island. Read further to know more about this quest.
Moon-Bathed Deep Quest Guide
There are 5 parts to this quest, the Eye, Fang, Fin, and Tail of Watatsumi quest. Finishing these 4 small quests will unlock the last part of the quest, the Heart of Watatsumi quest.
Eye of Watatsumi
- Aftter talking to Tsuyoko, follow the quest marker and read the stone tablet near the sealed statue.
- Use Elemental sight to follow the purple elemental lines to find 3 purple orbs in the south, north, and west. Use elemental attack to disperse the orb.
- After destroying the orbs, go to the statue and get the Spirit Pearl.
Fang of Watatsumi
- Follow the quest marker to the next destination. Read the stone tablet near the statue.
- Protect the monolith from the enemies until the time runs out.
- With each wave there will be stronger enemies, so be prepared to fight a tough battle along with protecting the monolith.
- After that, go to the statue and get the Spirit Pearl.
Fin of Watatsumi
- Read the stone tablet in the next destination to start this part of the quest. There will be 2 big platforms with 3 fish statues each.
- Rotate the fish statues in a certain way that all the statues are facing towards the middle. There will be a blue glowing light when positioned correctly.
- Do the same for the other platform and pay your respects to the statue everytime you’ve positioned the fish statues.
- Then go to the sealed statue which will be unlocked now to get the Spirit Pearl.
Tail of Watatsumi
- Once you reach the destination, there will be some fatui waiting for you. So get ready for a fight and then read the stone tablet to start the quest.
- Here, there will 6 small stone pillars which needs to be ignited using the electrogranum plant just below the sealed statue.
- Once you do that, go and get the Spirit Pearl.
Heart of Watatsumi
- Find Tsuyoko at the center of Sangonomiya Shrine. She’ll further lead you to a place where you’ll find another set of puzzle.
- Go to the location and place the 4 spirit pearls to open up the barrier.
- There will be 4 platforms inside with the fish statues. Follow the same method above to solve the fish statue puzzle.
- Every time you solve a platform there will be some water enemies. So get ready for a fight. Use a pyro or a cryo character to finish off the fight quickly.
- Once you’ve solved all the puzzles, you’ll get the Key of the Moon-bathed Deep.
- Talk to Tsuyoko to finish this quest.
