With the recent release of Fall Guys on PC and PlayStation platforms – the game has just exploded in terms of popularity, with all gamers and streamers going crazy about it. The game’s visual design looks fabulous and the concept of making a game about Takeshi’s Castle like challenges is just pure genius. We have tried both the PC and PS4 version of the game and its fun. From past week there have been rumours regarding a mobile release of the game.

There are multiple YouTube videos that show off some gameplay footage of Fall Guys clones on mobile. The mobile version doesn’t look to be a matter of whether or not will it exist, rather when will it come out. A domain with the name fallguysmobile.com has been registered by Devolver Digital(currently redirects to the official website) which suggests that it’s happening sometime soon.
Moreover, the developers have also made their intentions clear about a mobile release for the game. One point of interest is that the devs have a contract with Sony which prohibits them from releasing the game to other newer platforms.

Some Personal Opinions
[Writer’s Opinion]My personal opinion on the matter that if they manage to maintain the player base over the months, we may see the release on the other platforms including mobile side by side. Whether the game would be free or not is still a big question. I’m also guessing that maybe, just maybe the game may turn free to play when the mobile versions come out with some special perks or content for people who bought the game.
Fall Guys Mobile Can Be Free to Play, Release Window
Android and iOS are lucrative platforms for mobile games like Fall Guys. A free to play business model will earn the developers more revenue than a pay to play model. We don’t think Fall Guys Mobile is going to release anytime soon because the developers are currently dealing with server overload and some other issues. So, we think Fall Guys Mobile might get ported to Android/iOS platforms till the end of 2020. Or, the game release can be shifted towards early 2021.
