     1. Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales

Insomniac Games are working on a standalone DLC for their 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man Game.  The game takes place a few months after the events of the first game and is set during Christmas if the snow is any indication. You play as Miles Morales who has his own set of powers.

Not much about the story has been revealed, although we know that the game’s length is akin to titles like Uncharted: Lost Legacy.

Miles Morales launches this holiday season

      2. Demon Soul’s Remake

Bluepoint Games have finally revealed their next-gen ambitious project and it is the much-awaited Demon Soul’s Remake. If you didn’t know, Demon’s Souls is the first game that set the foundations for future FromSoftware titles such as Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro.

Demon’s Souls was initially released back in 2009 exclusively for PS3. The game was riddled with numerous technical issues. The new remake looks jaw-dropping  on Sony’s PS5 and we can’t wait to see more of it in the coming months.

The elephant in the room. Guerrilla Games ended the show with a first look at Horizon Forbidden West, a sequel to 2017’s Horizon Zero Dawn.

The game as the name suggests takes place in the West, specifically in California. Alongside new machines to fight, there will be underwater locations to explore.

Horizon Forbidden will launch sometime in 2021.

4. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is the next installment in this long-running third-person action platformer. Insomniac Games is not just working on the Miles Morales game, but also a full-fledged Ratchet & Clank game of which we saw a hefty gameplay segment during the PS5 reveal event.

Rift Apart benefits immensely from PS5’s incredibly powerful SSD as it allows inter-dimensional travel without any load screens.

Aside from Ratchet, the game also features a female playable character called Lombax.

Rift Apart doesn’t have a confirmed release window as of now.

5. Returnal

Returnal is an ambitious sci-fi third-person shooter from the studio behind titles such as Resogun.

The game takes place on a hostile planet where the player character fights varied species of aliens to survive.

It’s a roguelike adventure where the main protagonist is stuck in an endless cycle of life and death. Although as the trailer suggests, every time the player dies and comes back to life, the planet seems to have changed as well.

Returnal is Housemarque studio’s most ambitious title yet and we can’t wait to hear and see more of it.

There’s no confirmed release window as of now.

6. Gran Turismo 7

There wouldn’t be a new Playstation  without a new Gran Turismo game right?

Polyphony Digital is back with a new mainline entry: Gran Turismo 7 that features the state of the art visuals and a returning GT Simulation mode.

The game immensly benefit from the PS5’s 3D audio as well as haptic feedback, both of which will make up for the most realistic Gran Turismo game ever.
