It seems as though the footage of Naughty Dog’s upcoming The Last Of Us Part 2 multiplayer faction mode has leaked online
The leak comes from a youtube channel called TheIrishLizard. The video is of only 11 seconds but gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect from this upcoming multiplayer mode for the game.
It seems as the characters from the story mode are playable in this multiplayer mode. In the footage the player has a striking resemblance to that of Mel. However it’s too blurry to accurately point out. If it’s true, we may also get to play as other characters such as Yara, Lev, etc, which is good because each of them specializes on different weapons and abilities.
Naughty dog confirmed earlier this year that The Last Of Us Part 2 won’t ship with a multiplayer mode, however they are cooking something in the veins of the factions mode from the first game.Although we haven’t heard or seen anything officially as of now.
The Last Of Us Part 2 released earlier this year to critical reception and sold over 4 million copies in just three days after its release, making it the fastest selling PS4 exclusive of all time.
