Solo Leveling is an Action-Fantasy Korean web novel written by Chugong and published by D&C Media. It is one of the best Korean Webnovel ever published to date. As we know Crunchyroll is working on its Original Shows in collaboration with the Korean Webcomic platform Webtoon in bringing some of the most popular webcomics to anime. Solo Leveling Anime Adaptation is something that the entire community wants to happen.

Whether we talk about Anime, Manga, Manhua fans or Novel readers. Everyone is eager to learn about Solo Leveling getting an anime adaptation. There were even petitions for Solo Leveling anime. Even after getting a good response, no officials talk about any anime adaptation.

Solo Leveling Anime Adaptation By Crunchyroll

For the time being there is no official news from Crunchyroll about Solo Leveling anime adaptation. However, with the introduction of Crunchyroll Originals, we have a chance of getting the anime adaptation of Solo Leveling soon.

Top Korean webcomics like Tower of God, Noblesse, God of Highschool and more are getting an anime adaptation this year. Meanwhile, some of them are already airing/aired exclusively on Crunchyroll.

Crunchyroll X Webtoon collaboration will not Result in Solo Leveling Anime

Solo Leveling anime adaptationThere are many people who talk about Solo Leveling getting an anime adaptation because of Crunchyroll and Webtoon’s collaboration. However, that is not completely true. Solo Leveling is not a webcomic and it is not on Webtoons. Crunchyroll Originals is something that we never expected. The streaming service has brought us some of the best novel adaptations like In Spectre and some others.

The success of Crunchyroll Originals may result in the anime adaptation for Solo Leveling. Solo Leveling already has an ongoing Manhua adaptation. We personally think that the name “Solo Leveling is in ears of the people at Crunchyroll“. But, with the ongoing pandemic, it’s hard to work on multiple projects.

We think the end of the current list of Crunchyroll originals will bring out some new news on the Solo Leveling anime. Only if Crunchyroll collaborates with D & C Webtoon. If not then there will no Solo Leveling anime from Crunchyroll.

Will Netflix bring Solo Leveling Anime?

Netflix has brought us some of the best anime adaptations like-

  • Devilman Crybaby.
  • Aggretsuko.
  • A.I.C.O. -Incarnation.
  • SWORD GAI The Animation.
  • Ajin: Demi-Human.
  • Knights of Sidonia.
  • Little Witch Academia.
  • Last Hope.
  • Forest of Piano.

However, we think that a Korean Web Novel like Solo Leveling is not in Nextflix forte. As the anime adaptations, they have worked on in past is completely different from Solo Leveling. So, even if they do partner up with D & C Webtoons. We can’t say if the anime adaptation will be good or not.
