I watched To Every You I’ve Loved Before movie first and after finishing the movie I was left with a lot of questions like what exactly happened with Kazune from the parallel world.
Also, there was the story of Koyomi Hidaka which didn’t leave much of an impact on me as his story was rushed. I also was unable to figure out whether Koyomi is inside Takasaki’s body as he also shifted just like Kazune from his world to the original world of the movie. Koyomi’s original motive in the movie was to free Shiori Sato from the Interstice that she was stuck in but at the end of the movie, it was still unclear whether Koyomi was ever able to free Shiori. This made the ending of the film feel really underwhelming!
Concepts like shifting into different parallel worlds were explained vaguely and rendered me unable to understand the story completely. Although I was able to get the gist of the story and understand most of the plot. These two stories narrate the same stories but in parallel worlds which demands a change of perspective.
