Guild Wars 2 is a free to play action MMORPG developed by ArenaNet. The game initially released on August 28, 2012, across Classic Mac OS, Microsoft Windows platforms. Guild Wars 2 offers a great storyline to complete. However, the best part about Guild Wars 2 that I especially liked were the instanced dungeons and raids(introduced in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns). If you are an MMO fan who like PVP, dungeons(long load time), raids and such activities. Then guild wars 2 is the best-suited MMO for you.

Most of the times, while playing an MMORPG we usually skip the dialogues and story part because they are simply boring or not worth remembering. But, in Final Fantasy 14, you will be awed by the story and characters. It offers some of the best aspects of a good MMO like housing, cosmetics(fashion), races, card games, dungeons, PVP battles and much more.

Final Fantasy 14 has over 20 million players right now and the numbers are everchanging. FFXIV is not free to play MMORPG as you have to pay 19.99 USD for starters edition which includes the base game. Elder Scrolls Online

Elder Scrolls Online is a buy to play MMORPG developed by ZeniMax Online Studios. I was very sceptical about ESO at the beginning because my personal MMO preference is an MMORPG with a good story, characters and above all that it must offer a fast-paced combat system.

Elder Scroll Online did offer a good story, mesmerising visuals, well-developed characters, NPCs but it lacked in terms of gameplay. Now, don’t get me wrong. ESO has a great gameplay mechanics with a unique combat system.

But, I didn’t want to play the game because I presumed it would not be up to my liking. I am proud to say I was wrong. After playing ESO for hundreds of hours on PC I realized the combat system offered by the game is one of the best among the top MMOs. Elder Scroll Online offers everything that a normal MMO does. Whether we talk about dungeons, raid, PVP, housing, companions, or others.

ESO is one of the most immersive MMO game out there. Most of the time in-game was spent on crafting and exploration( ah..and also waiting at altars for players who can make me a vampire).

No more personal experience sharing. Lets get to the point. Elder Scrolls online has more than 13 million players. It has a pretty big online player base, the standard edition ESO is available for 19.99 USD. I would personally prefer this one as ESO is great in every aspect. Whether we talk about story, gameplay, graphics, future content or expansion, or anything else.

Star Wars Old Republic

Star Wars Old Republic is a free to play MMORPG game developed by BioWare. The same developers which aren’t developing anything anymore(thanks to Anthem). Star Wars The Old Republic is an MMO for star wars series fans. As it allows you to play as a Jedi, Sith, Bounty Hunter, or one of many other iconic STAR WARS roles in the galaxy far, far away over three thousand years before the classic films[Taken from steam. Please don’t @ me].

In short Star Wars Old Republic has pretty decent online player population. The graphics are pretty good, it offers a great sci-fi story, a pretty decent combat system and one the toughest PVP battles including Player vs. Player Warzones, Arenas, or Galactic Starfighter missions!

Neverwinter

Neverwinter is a free to play action MMO developed by Cryptic Studios. It is also one of the very first MMORPGs that I played. Neverwinter is one the best MMOs to newbies who want to start their MMO games. The game looks visually stunning and offers a variety of class and races.

The combat in Neverwinter is one of the best I have every experienced. I still remember choosing the trickster rogue class and I was awed by the skill and combat abilities offered by the class. Its offers an immersive Dungeons & Dragons story experience, iconic locations, classes, and encounters — with both heroes and villains.

The raids and dungeons is Neverwinter are fun to grind as they are well rewarding in nature. The story and lore is what stuck me to play the game again and again. The guild system in Neverwinter is great and offers you an instanced guild area where you can build all sort of stuffs.
