Microsoft has finally unveiled the price of the Xbox Series X, funnily enough on PlayStation’s 25th anniversary. So, we thought that it’s a great opportunity to do a roundup on everything we know about the console.
Xbox Series X and Series S Prices
Xbox Series X is the definitive next-generation console that has a wapping 10 TFLOPs of power and all the bells and whistles you can expect out of a next-gen console. The Xbox Series X is priced at 499$.
The Series S is the compact, more casual version of it’s bigger brother. They both share the same architecture but the Series S will have 4 TFOPs of power and no optical disk drive, with other compromises as well.

That being, these compromises lead to a launch price of 299$ which can serve as an entry point for people wanting to purchase a console. Xbox Series X and Series S are both slated to launch this November.
Xbox Series X and Series X Official Price in India
The official Facebook page of Xbox India announced the prices for Microsoft’s next-generation of consoles a while ago. The Xbox Series X is priced at 49,990 INR while the inferior version Series S is priced at 34,990 INR.
The Series X price is as per what everyone expected. However, we were surprised to see Xbox Series S price so high in India. Even with 18% luxury tax and imports, the 35k price is not justifiable.

Xbox Series X or Series S: Which one you should buy?
As for the matter of consoles, it’s entirely up to you. A Series S is completely fine for most people out there, as most people don’t pixel-peep into the consoles to see the fidelity and framerate of their games.
For people who just want to get into gaming, it’s a perfect choice. However, if you love to own physical media or are a hardcore gamer that just can’t bear with lower framerates, the Series X will serve you just fine.
As for our recommendation on the All Access Program, it’s a no brainer. You should definitely subscribe to it for immense value. Even if you don’t play games that much, getting a privilege to own multiple full-price games for a mere $20 is too good to pass on.
