Apex Legends is a battle royale by Respawn Entertainment, available on all major platforms. Apex Legends Season 6 got a new trailer yesterday which reveals major details like release date, new legend, a new gun, map changes, and much more. So, without any further ado let’s check all details we have so far on Apex Legends Season 6.
Apex Legends Season 6 Release Date
The new season for Apex Legends will start from August 18, 2020. The update will be available on all major platforms on the same day. PC players can update the game from Origin launcher. Meanwhile, the console players will get an auto-update(*internet connection required).
Apex Legends Season 6 New Legend Rampart and Battle Pass
The Season 6 of Apex Legends brings another new legend to the existing roster. The new legend is officially named “Rampart” and as far her skill goes, she may be a “support” character. According to EA Rampart is described as,
An expert modder who made her name in underground fight clubs, Rampart talks big and has the ballistics to back it up.
New Legend Rampart Skills and Abilities
Rampart’s main ultimate is called “Sheila” which an artillery gun. Her tactical and passive abilities are not something that we are officially confirmed off. But, the Season 6 trailer showcases some new interesting things which can be considered Rampart’s tactical ability.

Now if you go through the trailer you can see a deployable shield/barrier through which Banglore was shooting. That deployable shield/barrier can be considered Rampart’s Tactical ability. As far as her passive goes, we think it is related to modding weapons on the battlefield like crafting attachments or such.
Season 6 Battle Pass
The battle pass for season 6 is not updated yet. However, we know that it is called “boosted” and offers a new wave of legendaries, emotes, and much more. The official description is as follows-
Over 100 exclusive items including Legendary skins, Apex Packs, new Holo-Sprays, and more!
The most interesting thing in the new battle pass is the mention of Holo-Sprays. The season 6 trailer for the game is colorful. The new theme of the game focuses on a set of vibrant colors, for example- pink. And, with the addition of Holo-Sprays, we can say why the developers choose such a theme. Using the new Holo-Spray player might be able to make Graffitis and such.
Apex Legends Season 6 New Weapon: Volt
The new weapon in season 6 of Apex Legends is called Volt. Moreover, it is an energy type SMG with a fast fire rate. The weapon is suitable for both long and short-range. The addition of Volt will change the meta, players who love using R99 may have to reconsider. As Volt is Titanfall 2 is a better choice among the SMGs.
